Undergraduate Concession Card

Undergraduate Concession Cards are issued by TransitLink, and holders of these cards are entitled to concessionary travel on bus services (except Express, Night, Sentosa and CSS services), and train services (MRT/LRT).

Eligibility

Only full-time matriculated SMU undergraduate students are eligible for the Undergraduate Concession Card.

Card Application Procedure

For collection of Concession Card by proxy, please email to studentservices@smu.edu.sg your proxy’s:
• Name
• Student ID or last 4 digit of NRIC/FIN
Please also cc your proxy as they may be required to show the email during the card collection process.

After the Bulk Application Exercise ends (from 1 September 2023 onwards), you may apply for a concession card online or at any of the following TransitLink Concession Card Replacement Offices (CCRO):

• Admiralty MRT Station

• Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange

• Bukit Panjang Station*

• Buona Vista MRT Station

• Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange

• Hougang Bus Interchange

• Jurong East Bus Interchange

• Somerset MRT Station*

• Tampines Bus Interchange

* Bukit Panjang & Somerset CCRO will be closed for meal break from 2pm - 3pm.
** Please check the CCRO opening hours before going.

University Student Monthly Concession Pass (MCP)

The MCPs can be purchased at any TransitLink Ticket Office and AVM+, and can be encoded to start from any specified date up to 7 days in advance.

Bus Concession Pass (BCP)	Unlimited travel on basic bus services	$55.50
Train Concession Pass (TCP)	Unlimited travel on train rides	$48.00
Hybrid Concession Pass (HCP)	Combination of BCP and TCP	$90.50

*Please note that:

• Concession cards have to be activated before the purchase of concession passes

• Your concession card can only consist of ONE valid Monthly Concession Pass (MCP) at any one time. MCPs cannot be overlapped in dates

• Unused concession pass is non-refundable

• You will need to pay adult fares for travel if you decide NOT to purchase a Monthly Concession Pass

• Basic bus services include trunk and feeder services.
- Express, Fast Forward and premium bus services like Chinatown Direct, Premium, Nite Owl, NightRider and City Direct are NOT included.
- Concession Passes are applicable for Parks 408.
