Library Orientation
The SMU Libraries Orientation consists of two parts:
Part I: Attend the Library Orientation as part of your Freshmen Orientation.
Part II: Complete LIB001 - Library Research Skills 2026-27 as an e-learning module.
For all freshmen in the SMU Holistic Student Development Framework.

SMU International Connections (ICON) Camp for International Freshmen: 5 to 7 August 2026 (Wednesday to Friday)
SMU ICON Camp is one of the most sought-after events for both international and local freshmen, offering a comprehensive 3-day experience designed to help you integrate seamlessly into SMU and Singapore. Through engaging activities, insightful sharing sessions, and exciting social events, you'll have the opportunity to make new friends, explore the city and campus, and build a strong foundation for your academic and social journey at SMU.

Post-Matriculation, email will be sent to all freshmen to rsvp via OnTracII for the briefing sessions.

Join us for the THRIVE: 'Ask Us Anything' Workshop, a collaboration by the Student Services Hub (SSH) x Office of the Registrar (RO) x SMU Students’ Association (SMUSA) – for a peer-led session where SMU seniors will walk you through key learning platforms like OASIS, eLearn, and BOSS Bidding.
They will share tips, answer your questions, and point you to useful resources to help you settle in and get the most out of your SMU journey. Don’t miss this chance to get a good headstart with the support of those who have been there.

An annual fair to introduce SMU’s over 150 Co-curricular Activity (CCA) clubs to students. This widely-anticipated event for all students, whether freshmen or seniors, is a celebratory showcase of SMU’s much talked about vibrant student life scene.
