Library Orientation
The SMU Libraries Orientation consists of two parts:
Part I: Attend the Library Orientation as part of your Freshmen Orientation;
Part II: Complete LIB001 - Library Research Skills 2025-26 as an e-learning module.
For all freshmen in the SMU Holistic Student Development Framework.
DKHMCC Freshmen Brief
Multiple sessions held over 13, 14 and 15 August, at the career center’s training rooms at Admin building level 7.
An introduction to the Dato’ Kho Hui Meng Career Centre’s core services, student internship & job search journey at SMU and navigating the OnTracII portal.
Post-Matriculation, email will be sent to all freshmen to rsvp via OnTracII for the briefing sessions.

SMU International Connections (ICON) Camp for International Freshmen: 11 to 13 August 2025 (Monday to Wednesday)
SMU ICON Camp is one of the most sought-after events for both international and local freshmen, offering a comprehensive 3-day experience designed to help you integrate seamlessly into SMU and Singapore. Through engaging activities, insightful sharing sessions, and exciting social events, you'll have the opportunity to make new friends, explore the city and campus, and build a strong foundation for your academic and social journey at SMU.

Feeling a little lost navigating SMU’s student system? We’ve got you. Join us for THRIVE: ‘Ask Us Anything’ Workshop by the Student Services Hub (SSH) – a peer-led session where SMU seniors will walk you through key platforms like OASIS, eLearn, and BOSS Bidding.
They will share tips, answer your questions, and point you to useful resources to help you settle in and get the most out of your SMU journey. Don’t miss this chance to start strong with the support of those who have been there.
