Our BSc (Information Systems) degree enjoys a strong reputation of producing job-ready professionals who are versatile in employing information technology to address business needs. Those of you joining this program will learn to identify emerging technologies and market trends, exploit opportunities to digitally transform an organization, and develop products/services that harmonize with the overall IT infrastructure. These are important skills that will make you future-ready IT professionals. You will also be able to specialize in career tracks that are in high demand by employers.
Our BSc (Computer Science) degree emphasizes strong technical foundation, skills in translating scientific principles to usable computing technologies and solutions, along with the management skills needed to navigate complex software development and system deployment concerns. You will be well equipped for the abundant career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Cyber-Physical Systems.
Our BSc (Software Engineering) degree aims to train a pipeline of software engineering talent with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the demand for such talent. This full-time, four-year undergraduate degree combines classroom-learning with structured on-the-job training. It features a rigorous 52-week apprenticeship where students work in development teams under the mentorship of professional software engineers.
We are also partnering the SMU Yong Pung How School of Law to offer a unique BSc (Computing & Law) degree. This degree equips students with the skillsets to protect technology innovation, comply with pertinent legal and regulatory requirements, as well as manage the technology and business risks posed by technology. You will also learn how to employ IT in legal practice.
